Hotel Management Software in Liberia: Bills in US dollars for Monrovia’s hotels, and passports scanned at check-in.
Liberia’s hotels price and bill largely in US dollars, and much of Monrovia’s trade comes from aid agencies, embassies, mining companies and their contractors. Biodux prints bills in dollars, sends the room to the organisation’s account and scans passports at check-in.

The organisation pays, the guest pays extras

When an NGO or a company pays for the room, the guest still pays for their own extras. Biodux keeps the two on separate bills, and the city ledger shows each organisation’s balance on any date.
Guests arrive with passports from everywhere. Passport scanning reads the machine-readable zone, checks the check digits and fills in the guest’s details, and the expiry report shows documents that have run out.
