About Biodux: Hotel software built in Africa, for the way African hotels run.

Biodux Property Management Systems Limited is the hospitality company of the Valinno Systems group. We make Biodux, the hotel management software that runs front desks, restaurants, bars, stores and accounts for hotels, resorts and apartments, from our head office in Lagos.

More than 15 years of hotel software

For more than 15 years our team has been writing and installing hospitality software for hotels across Nigeria and West Africa. Our parent, Valinno Systems Limited, has been building business software since 2007, and the group now has more than 1,000 installations. Each one taught us something about how hotels really run, and most of those lessons are now in the code.

Hotels kept asking for things a shop till couldn’t give them: reservations, guest bills, a city ledger, a night audit, and outlets that charge to the room. Biodux is a separate company so that hotels get a team that thinks about hotels all day. Shops and supermarkets are looked after by our sister company, Biz Edge.

Our clients include hotels in Lagos, Akure and Port Harcourt, and resorts and apartments in Ogun State. We’re based at 1A Ogunlowo Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, and we travel to install and train on site.

What we build

Designed with every department of a hotel in mind

Biodux follows the guest from the first booking to checkout. It’s easy for reception to pick up, and it goes deep enough for the accounts office.

  • Every department on one system

    Reception, housekeeping, the restaurant and bars, the stores and the accounts office work from the same data, so a guest’s stay is one record from the reservation to checkout.

    How the suite fits together

  • Management reports while there’s time to act

    Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and revenue by outlet are up to date when you look, so you can change rates or plans mid-month instead of finding out at month-end.

    Night audit and reports

  • Connected to the systems around it

    Door locks, hotel TV and Wi-Fi, Oracle Opera FIAS and Microsoft Dynamics NAV connect to Biodux. Less typing between systems means fewer mistakes and a smoother stay for the guest.

Our parent company, Valinno Systems Limited, holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification (certificate AMER500537) for its information security management system, and is registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC/DCP/10045). The certification belongs to Valinno Systems Limited.
